GTU

Gujarat Technological University

Gujarat Technological University reports the semester performance index (SPI), the cumulative performance index (CPI) and the final CGPA on a ten point scale. The official percentage equivalence subtracts 0.5 from the index before multiplying by ten, so an 8.00 CPI equals 75 percent.

Key rules to remember

  • SPI is the credit weighted average of grade points earned in one semester.
  • CPI is the credit weighted average of all semesters completed so far and CGPA is the final figure at graduation.
  • The percentage equivalence is (CPI - 0.5) x 10 as notified by the university.
