Can I convert an SGPA with the same formula?

The deduction rule is defined for the final DGPA. Applying it to a single semester gives an indicative figure only.

Can I use plain DGPA times ten?

No. MAKAUT publishes the minus 0.75 adjustment, so a plain multiplication overstates your percentage by 7.5 points.

Does this work for a single semester SGPA?

Yes, the same equation is used for SGPA when a single semester percentage is required, though final eligibility is normally judged on DGPA.
