About this tool

An AKTU theory subject is only cleared when the external paper reaches its own minimum and the combined total reaches forty. The estimator evaluates both thresholds and, when a subject is short, states the external score still required given your sessional marks.

Can full sessional marks alone clear a subject?

No. The external paper has its own minimum of twenty one, so the aggregate rule is not sufficient on its own.

Are practical subjects assessed the same way?

Practical and project components follow separate criteria stated in the evaluation scheme for your branch.

Can a high sessional mark pass the subject alone?

No. The external paper has its own minimum of twenty one, so a strong sessional cannot cover a failed external head.

What happens if only the total falls short?

If the external minimum is met but the combined total is below forty, the subject is still a backlog and has to be reattempted.
